I was so honored to photograph the birth of Elias!

His mom worked so hard for so long during her labor. Her husband (an awesome photographer) offered her amazing support and love throughout the whole birth. Really, they could have been a textbook example of how to treat your partner during labor.

Baby Elias was posterior which can make for a very long and painful labor, especially for first time moms. I know this wasn’t the birth the family envisioned but it was really beautiful.

I have also started to offer video footage to all my birth clients. Currently this is offered at no additional fee and I will work with each family individually to decide what moments to capture on video.
