I was connected with this amazing family for birth photography via my friend and fellow doula Janine Mason and it felt like a perfect match up. I loved working along side Janine and watching this family grow from two to three. I was also thrilled to have Longmont United Hospital welcome me into the OR for the birth. We are making amazing strides in Colorado by honoring the families wishes during their birth, no matter if that happens in the labor and delivery room or the operating room. Birth photography during cesarean births is a reality for these parents because of all those that came before and made their voices heard!
